Aeson is here! He was a breeched pregnancy which means he was sitting straight up instead of having his head down. This combined with low amniotic fluid prompted our doctor to schedule a C-Section for the 29th, two weeks early. We went in at 8:30am and at 9:02 am, Aeson David joined us and brightened our lives. Weighing 7 lbs 3 oz and measuring 20 inches, he is doing well and so is mamma.

It is 5:30 am and we are about to leave for the hospital. My wife will undergo a c-section this morning and we will have our boy!

It is amazing what a single letter sent to someone from Iraq will do to your life.

This child will make me a better man, a better husband, and a good father.

Yep! We had our ultrasound today, and Aeson David DeGaugh showed us without a doubt that he's a boy!
